My creative journey began with a graphic design major in Korea. But it was film photography that left the deepest mark. I still remember the first feel of Minolta and Lomo - the texture, colors, and patience instantly pulled me in. Even as DSLR cameras emerged, I was still captivated by its timeless originality.

In Seoul, I worked at an architecture firm and a creative agency where I developed a strong eye for modern visuals. Every design, typography, photography was shaped by clean lines and clear intention.

On the busy streets of Seoul, Japan and beyond, I carried my cameras everywhere. I began to integrate my design sensibility into carefully framed portraits and everyday scenes. Clean, composed and expressive.

My school year in New York was unforgettable. The city felt like one giant film set. I walked Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn with two cameras - one loaded with black & white film, the other digital.

Beyond class, I gave myself an assignment - live like an artist. I explored and captured the city's layered textures: concrete jungle, unforgettable faces on the street, the passion and raw emotions. People began posing for portraits and I started building stories through images.

Switching between film and digital, I became comfortable in timing, composition, and interacting with people. My eye sharpened with the rhythm of the city. Fast, raw and honest.
